Competition Master

So I'm still making pop up scenes when I get the chance, and I like hanging out on this cool gaming forum called Consolevania (website for awesome online video games show, sadly no more) So I decided to run a wee competition, just to liven things up. It was called 'guess my avatar' and involved me taking a tiny image from a game character of some boxart and making it my avatar and then the forum chaps would try and guess the character and game. Simple idea, some were hard and some were not. I kept a running tally, and once I mentioned that there was a prize (custom pop up based on the video game character of your choice) they really started tryng. It took about 4 days in all with about 15-20 or so making guesses. It was a nice wee diversion in this otherwise boring world.

The winner chose Grim Fandango as his scene, a picture of which is in my gallery.

I encourage you all to do something similar in any forums you like....

Ahaha, I can imagine your guitar isn't very humble about stealing the spotlight, but you have to admit it's pretty well-deserved. If I were a guitar like that, I'd be a conceited bastard, too. In fact, a lot of your work is well in their right to adopt that mentality. I love the Nintendo themes. :]
