What would happen if Heaven was actually on Earth? Well it is now in the form of a lovely family friendly holiday park in sunniest…Scunthorpe.

But things are not running altogether smoothly at Heaven. God has taken a leave of absence and Jesus has gone AWOL leaving voice of God, Metatron as well as head angel Abdiel and human apprentice Tony to keep things ticking over.

It just happens to be the day of the coming Apocalypse, and with mounting financial troubles and some unexpected surprises along the way, how will they manage to provide the people of Scunthorpe with the theological experience they would normally expect in the afterlife?

Please check out OHIAPOE. Its a 30 minute audio sitcom, me and my brother wrote, recorded and produced wth a couple of friends helping with voice duties. Hey there, I've been using Twitter for a while, but I recently started putting 'in progress' shots of some of my deviations on Twit pic. Its a really conveniant way to share images taken on the fly, but mainly, it gives me a handy online diary of all the pics, with dates/times and such like.  What's really cool is that some pretty cool art 'places' started following me and people sharing their art on twitpic... Its just really easy to look at more stuff I suppose.

I've just realised this minute that I have been on Deveiant Art for exactly one year (yesterday!)
This is really cool because it helps me to contextualise and put into perspective what effect DA has had on me creatively and where I should go from here.

Unlike many on on this site, I'm not a proffessional artist (I'm a male nurse for anyone who cares) and I tend to have nowhwere near the amount of time I wished I had to make art and what not. However, I have posted 36 pieces on here in this past year and created many more pieces that I demmed unworthy for public viewing, (when you work with delicate mediums like paper and card, things can go wrong as often as they go right) and sometimes I just bite off more than I can chew.

Never before in my adult life have I been so eager to make things, and I have never made as many pieces that I'm genuinely happy with as I did this past year. All the encouragement and kind comments I've recieved have been fantastic and I just want to thank Deviant Art, but especially all my many watchers and all the povely people all over the world who have taken the time to look at, fave and comment on my art for inspiring me to try hard and make things that look nice.

I love you all for this and I hope it continues.

So, me wee bro and I have been wanting to record our own weekly podcast for a while now. and we've just very recently launched the website and put up the first episode for public consumption.

Its a bit rough at the moment (so we are calling episode one the pilot) and we hope to have any rough bits, poor levelling and boring bits removed before the real episode 1 next week.

So what is it? Well its basically me and my brother talking video games, but rather than reviewing games and talking about the news (which we may well do to a small degree) we basically just converse on the topic, hypoothesise scenarios for the future of gaming, and talk about some of our favourite games and the memories that go along with them.

So I'm still making pop up scenes when I get the chance, and I like hanging out on this cool gaming forum called Consolevania (website for awesome online video games show, sadly no more) So I decided to run a wee competition, just to liven things up.  It was called 'guess my avatar' and involved me taking a tiny image from a game character of some boxart and making it my avatar and then the forum chaps would try and guess the character and game.  Simple idea, some were hard and some were not. I kept a running tally, and once I mentioned that there was a prize (custom pop up based on the video game character of your choice) they really started tryng.  It took about 4 days in all with about 15-20 or so making guesses.  It was a nice wee diversion in this otherwise boring world.

The winner chose Grim Fandango as his scene, a picture of which is in my gallery.
