Description
This is my latest Papier Mache sculpture. It is Starbucks rebuilt viper from the utterly awesome Sci Fi television program, Battlestar Galactica.
This is one of my favourite pieces that I have made so far. Its really big (40 cm long and 28 cm wide. Its really fun to play with and feels like a light plastic toy. I really love the design of these ships and the simple form and lovely colour palate made me want to make one.
Shape formed from cardboard and paper and tape etc, Coated in papier mache (newspaper and PVA) and painted with a coat of emulsion and coloured with acrylics.
This model took about 30 hours to make all in.
Very poor picture, but getting a new camera soon, so I will try to do it justice.
